From April of 1937 to July of 1944, Opel produced 82356 3-ton Opel Blitz 3.6-36 and 3.6-36S trucks.

3-ton Blitz 3.6-36 and 3.6-36S (4×2) / (4×4) were produced in 7 main variants:

Kfz.31 – heavy ambulance,

Kfz.68 – radio or telephone communication van,

Kfz.305 – standard truck used mainly by Luftwaffe (127 sub-variants),

TLF 15 – fire truck / 2500l tanker,

Fliegerkraftfahrspitze – airbase rescue / emergency vehicle,

Kfz.385 – airbase fuel tanker,

Kesselkraftwagen 2100L – 2100l fuel tanker for ground units.
