The Tank Museum is a joint establishment of the town of Munster and Panzertruppenschule, the central
training installation for future officiers and noncommissioned officers of the Armored Combat Troops.
The exhibited military vehicles, weapons, and items of equipment are either the property of the Federal Government,
the City of Munster or on loan. They document technical
develepments in the German Army and are historical witnesses of German military history from the 20th century until today.
